Oral History of Criminology

The Oral History of Criminology Project intends to conduct, and make available, interviews on a continuing basis since 1995. The generous participation of major figures in criminology promises to yield an invaluable living account of criminology and its impacts. The interviews offer students the opportunity to hear criminology from a scholar’s own voice—including the voices of those who have since passed away. About 100 interviews are available, mostly with US-Criminologists. The only German representative is Hans-Jürgen Kerner.
